A strong team of Year Two Chemistry students once again took part in the Royal Society of Chemistry’s (RSC) annual Chemistry Olympiad and once again finished with an impressive array of awards.
Designed to challenge and inspire, this UK competition is one of the leading chemistry competitions for students, providing an enriching experience and an opportunity to push themselves further and excel in the chemistry field. Aimed at students aged 16+, students will develop critical problem-solving skills, learn to think more creatively and get a chance to test their knowledge in real-world situations.
This year, our students won 6 Gold, 9 Silver and 2 Bronze awards. Here are some of the students receiving their certificates from Varndean Chemistry tutor, John Luton. Congratulations everyone.
