We are seeking a French Language Assistant who speaks French as their first language, and who is up-to-date with current affairs in the French speaking world. You will work alongside subject Tutors to support A level and International Baccalaureate students in conversation classes, practicing speaking skills in pairs and small groups. This would be a perfect first step for a graduate, or an undergraduate, who is considering a teaching career.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable Exam Invigilators to supervise students when taking their public examinations. The role of Invigilator involves supervising examinations according to Examination Board Regulations, distributing question and answer papers, ensuring that the students enter and leave exam halls calmly, and dealing with student queries. The post is paid at a rate of £12.23 per hour. Hours will vary depending on the number of examinations and the number of students taking these exams each day.

Hours: 16 hours per week, 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm on Thursdays

Varndean College is seeking to appoint reliable and experienced Cleaners for evening shifts, Mondays to Fridays. The Cleaning team is part of the Premises Dept and is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidy environments for staff and students. Cleaning staff work to standards outlined in the College Cleaning Specification and Floor Maintenance Programme.
