This course is taught in one year and is equivalent to one GCSE. If you are interested in working within the health care sector in the future, then this is a stepping stone to a fulfilling career. The course covers a range of topics including: human lifespan development, equality in the health and social care sector, effective communication, food and nutrition. An interest in the care sector is essential. The course consists of one examined unit and three pieces of coursework.
