Varndean College was delighted to be awarded ‘Careers Champions 2023’ recently by The Careers and Enterprise Company, who asked local employers to nominate career leaders who have made a significant contribution to the careers and skills agenda. Varndean was voted ‘Careers Champions’ for making the most significant contribution to developing links between education and the workplace, and for developing creative methods to enable skills development in young people and meeting the needs of the Local Skills Improvement Plan. It was wonderful to have the work we are undertaking for careers and skills at Varndean College recognised.
