Beijing Bayi School Visit

Chinese visit

The College welcomed 80 visitors from China's Beijing Bayi School yesterday, who were visiting Brighton as part of a UK cultural tour. They enjoyed seeing our beautiful college and learning more about our successful A Star project.

Following a tour of the college and lunch in our canteen, they then attended a presentation in the hall. This included two Varndean International students, Xiaoheng Sun (Year 1) and Erjia Liu (Year 2) who gave a short talk about their time studying A levels at Varndean and a beautiful dance performance.

We also had a formal exchange of gifts which included a traditional Chinese scroll and a contemporary Brighton picture by a local artist.
