Congratulations to Ashley Taylor, a second year student studying Childcare and Education who has been nominated for the NCFE ‘Learner of the Year’ as part of their aspiration awards recognising exceptional learners. Balancing responsibilities at home, a job and college work, Ashley has still completed the course before the deadline and achieved an A* in all 15 units. He is a brilliant practitioner, understanding how to make learning fun and is loved by the children he teaches and cares for. Ashley has been offered places at all the universities he applied to and will be moving to Teeside to study BA(Hons) Primary Education with QTS. We know he will be a total success and a fantastic teacher.
