Just a reminder that we will be here issuing results in person on results day, this Thursday 18th August (A Level and Level 3 Vocational). Results will be issued on the front field from 9am until 11am. PLEASE BRING ID with you or a letter of permission if someone is collecting results on your behalf.

Results are also available online on MyVarndean from 9:30am.

There will be pastries and drinks available to celebrate with you. Family and friends are warmly welcome.

In advance of results day OFQUAL and UCAS have released a letter to those of you who are receiving your results this year. Please see the link here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/joint-ofqual-and-ucas-letter-to-students/a-letter-to-students-from-ofqual-and-ucas

There is much in the press at the moment about results and I can well imagine that this may be heightening any anxiety you might already have about Thursday. At this stage there is so much speculation my advice would be to avoid listening to it if you can as you have done everything you can. We will be here for you on Thursday and into next week whatever the outcomes are with specialist UCAS and exams advice should you need it. We are hopeful that you achieve what you truly deserve; a fair result which recognises all your efforts and the exceptional circumstances you have studied throughout.

In advance of Thursday, I would like to wish you the very best of luck and I'm looking forward to celebrating with you,

Very best wishes,

Donna-Marie.
