Interested in a career in the Uniformed Protective Services? Study a range of organisations e.g. Police, Fire and Rescue, Ambulance, Army, Navy and others you may not have thought about. The course focuses on learning a wide range of skills important for Protective Service work including communication, teamwork, discipline and problem solving.
One unit is assessed in an exam. The other three are coursework using a range of reports, presentations, practical tasks and role plays. The course combines a theory element with active practical situations to give you an insight into the work of the uniformed services with visits to and speakers from different organisations.
This course will enable you to market yourself well to employers or to continue onto a Level 3 Protective Services course.
