Job Title: 3D Design Instructor/Technician
Department: Visual Arts
Contract: Fixed Term (one year)
Starting: September 2018
Hours: 15.5 hours a week (term time +1 week – 40 weeks per year)
Work Pattern: Monday and Tuesday only
Grade: SFCA Support Staff Band 3 £18,494-£20,459 per annum pro rota.
Actual salary: £6,734.35 per annum
We currently have a vacancy for a 3D Design Instructor/Instructor to support the teaching of Design.
You will be a practical, adaptable individual, who has the ability to organise and maintain workshop machinery and equipment both traditional and digital. You will also have a working knowledge (or willingness to learn) of CAD processes-3D printing and laser cutting.
Previous experience in working in a technical support role with students is essential.
