The Mental Health Practitioner is responsible for the management of mental health related student cases, providing specialist support to students with mental health conditions, liaising with academic and additional support teams and external service providers, conducting risk assessments, providing guidance to staff on students’ fitness to study and contributing to the college vision to raise awareness.
The successful applicant will have a professional qualification in nursing, occupational health, therapy or social work and have experience of working across a range of mental health settings. Experience of working with young people with a wide range of mental health needs and extensive experience of managing and accessing mental health risk are essential.

We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Engineering Tutor to join our STEM school.
In this rewarding post you will be teaching and assessing on our Level 3 Engineering course, and also applying your Physics/Maths knowledge and teaching some modules on our BTEC Science courses and/or Maths GCSE.
Working closely with the Head of Department and the rest of the departmental team, you will have the chance to share your knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College.
The successful candidate must:
- Have a full teaching qualification
- Have a minimum of an A Level (or Level 3 equivalent) in Physics
- Have previous teaching experience in this area within a FE/sixth form environment
- Be a specialist in the subject of Physics/Engineering

We are looking for an inspirational part time cover teacher with a design background to teach 3D Design (including architecture). An art & design specialist with previous relevant training, skills and/or experience is welcome to apply.
Candidates should have successful teaching experience or teaching practice in the subject in the 14-19 sector or post 16 and a recognised teaching qualification.
In addition, you will have
- An ability to adopt a variety of strategies to suit students’ different learning styles
- Detailed knowledge of the curriculum and proven ability to plan and prepare courses and lessons
- Experience of Design based equipment / machine safety training and use of digital software applications.
- Sound 3D design workshop experience/knowledge of tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of laser cutting, and Corel draw is essential.
